What is The Market?

The Market is available to our residents, where they can “shop” for items they need without any cost. This initiative is designed to help our residents, practice budgeting in a supportive environment. The Market operates on a point system, where each item is worth a certain amount of points. These points are allocated to the moms on a monthly basis, with the quantity determined by the size of their family and the ages of their children. The Market houses a wide range of items – from household cleaning supplies and personal hygiene products to fresh produce and pantry staples, catering to the diverse needs of our residents. The aim of the Market goes beyond just providing necessary items. It serves as a platform to empower our residents with budgeting skills, fostering independence and financial responsibility.
